This is a fall painting I've worked on for quite a while. It a scene similar to what you'd see at Dana Peak Park in Central Texas overlooking Belton Lake with Whitetail deer.

There's an old, crusty and absolutely cool, artsy mailbox down the road.  Had to paint it! You can read more in the blog post: here if you want to. There's no bluebonnets or red blankets now, but it just seemed right to add it in.
